Dale Corlett

Dale has had extensive experience as a director and producer both in the UK and in his native New Zealand. His directing credits include theatre, film, music promos including the sell-out season of King of Stains and the NZ Fringe Festival hits and multi award winning Anorak of Fire and Saving Grace. His short films have screened at festivals throughout the world with his latest, The Man on the Side of the Road, chosen for OFFICIAL COMPETITION, at the PALM SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL in 2008, where it was voted an Audience Favourite.

His debut feature film, RUNNING IN TRAFFIC has been selected for OFFICIAL COMPETITION at the 2009 EDINBURGH INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL where it is nominated for the prestigious Michael Powell Award for Best British Film while Dale is nominated for the Skillset New Directors Award. He was also nominated for BEST DIRECTOR at the BAFTA Scotland New Talent Awards 2009. He has a number of other film projects in various stages of development with Jigsaw Productions in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

In 2004 he took up the position of Executive Director of Glasgow Media Access Centre (GMAC), Scotland's leading development agency for new and emerging film making talent. Through this position he has worked closely with all the UK film industry funders developing and delivering a number of initiatives including commissioning up to ten new short films per year. Films produced and talent developed during his tenure have won numerous local, national and international awards including Scottish BAFTA's, Best Short Film Awards at International Film Festivals and the prestigious Golden and Silver Bear Awards in Berlin.

Prior to moving into directing & producing Dale worked as a professional actor in NZ with credits including the American TV series Xena, Hercules, core cast in the NZ police drama series Plain Clothes, various theatre productions and American and New Zealand feature films. Dale is currently based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Suzanne Adamson

Suzanne has successfully run the commercial arm of Jigsaw Productions for the past six years. Producing work for numerous governmental departments, other public agencies and corporate clients she has developed a reputation for delivering the highest quality productions within modest budgets and timescales. As an actress Suzanne has numerous stage and screen credits the most recent in Jigsaw Productions critically acclaimed short film, the man on the side of the road, which was selected for Official Competition at the 2008 Palm Springs International Short Film Festival.

She has just completed writing her debut feature film, A boy called George, which is currently going through development with Jigsaw Productions.
